I've always had a thing for Wonder Girl. It's only natural I suppose, she's a girl. But one who is nice. And one who smells of spice. Like a ripe peach drenched in mother of pearl. Ohhh! Isn't that romantic? Just like these guys. Writer: Scott Lobdell; Artist: Brett Booth; and Publisher: DC Comics in August 2012. BBblluurrrrggggg. Gimme a bucket. Quick.

So what’s the STORY morning glory?
A friend of mine thought that it would be a funny idea if he ate a whole bucket of chicken, and then threw the bones at a woman during her 'time of the month'. No. This wasn't a funny idea. As seen in this tale entitled 'Wonder Wonder Who'.

  • Picture the scene or I'd punch you in the head; a member of the Teen Titans is currently starting to turn sour.
  • Now the first sign starts to surface when a wannabe recruit -- named Loose Cannon -- is catapulted out of their headquarters by this person.
  • It then escalates' when Bunker, Kid Flash, and Solstice, all falls under the might of this deranged teen.
  • Until finally Red-Robin and Superboy stumble upon whom this individual really is -- Wondergirl -- because she is tormented by forces beyond her control.

Meanwhile, in the back-up feature, Kid Flash goes in search for a gang of dinosaur draped dandies, only to come across a familiar face in an alley.

What is the most memorable SENTENCE OR CONVERSATION spoken in this issue?
In the back-up feature, I had to laugh when Bart said to himself...

'If I had some super sense, it would be giving me a clue right now. And if I had common sense I would not get involved. Lucky for all you boys and girls at home, I don't'.

Couldn't agree more.

What was the BEST thing about this issue?
There was a lot about this issue that I ready did enjoy. For example: (1) It looks like Danny the Alley may be back on this book. (2) The team are now acting like a team. And (3) The Loose Cannon cameo was a blast.

What was the WORST thing about this issue?
Although the majority of this book was a joy to read, I think that it's because of this fact -- plus the back-up feature -- why it was very quick to plough through too.

Please note, this is only a small gripe within the scheme of things.

What was the most CREATIVE thing about this issue?
STORY: One of my most favourite and original scenes in this book, was when Bunker was explaining to the gang how he 'picked up' Loose Cannon on-line. Now not only was it very funny, but it's also the first time I've seen a 'teenage hero' use a computer like a teenager.

Innovative -- in a realistic manner.

ART: My only real problem with the art on this book is how the costumes come across like something you'd see in a 'Mardi Gras'. Take this 'alternate Wonder Girl' get-up for instance. To me, it looks more like a feteshist's wet dream than something you see in a teen book.

Listen, I do not want to sound too harsh about artist, Brett Booths, work -- he's a class act, with no mistake. It just doesn't feel right is all! Too overt and not enough substance.

Everything else is cool though.

If you had to CAST TWO CHARACTERS in this comic book, who would they be and why?
LOOSE CANNON: Daniel Cudmore, who plays Colossus in the X-men movies, could defiantly play this wannabe Hulk in a Teen Titan's one. Well, couldn't you see him being tossed by a girl? Errr. In a manner of speaking, of course.

STEG: Now for this reptile-looking creep, you'd need a creep who looks like a reptile. So what about 'Avatar' actor, Jacob Tomuri? He eats foliage you know.

If this issue had a MOVIE TAG LINE, what would it be?
Leave That Wonderful Girl Alone. She Is Having A... Moment... At The Moment.

If this issue were a MOVIE, an OBJECT, or a piece of MUSIC, what would that be and why?
OK, so this issue is about a girl with a strange neurological problem that affects her as well as people she comes into contact with. Are you thinking what I'm thinking? No! Not donkey porn! The film 'The Exorcist' silly.

FINAL thoughts...
I wonder what is going on with Wonder Girl at the moment. OK, I know that her origins are slightly more alternate in the DCnU now. However, it is also implied that her 'Godly origins' are still intact as well.

Ha! Maybe she's pissed off at how Brett draws her like Britney Spears, and puts her in all of those scantly clad outfits? Or maybe it's because of that mysterious naked character seen in a panel or two in this book, who looks a bit like Tempest.

Oh! Your not thinking what I am think, are you? NOOO! Not donkey porn again. A return of a hero -- perhaps -- one to go along with Danny the Alley.

Things are looking up on this title, huh?
