Picture the scene. You and your buddy are at work, cutting the mustard, and then you suddenly come to the realization that said mustard is well worth spreading all over the internet. So what do you do about it, huh? Make a sandwich? Or devise a great podcast like my make Mike did instead? Yeah. I'm not chopping your salami, pal. Here, check out this conversation I had with Mike only the other day, whilst eating a mustard and salami sandwich on whole-wheat.

Star Wars1) What are your own origins, Mike? Plus what path did you take in life to get to where you are today?   Origins? I moved around a lot as a kid, and Star Wars, SciFi, Comics, and my brother, were always my first set of friends at every location. Ben Burtt (did not realize at 7 he was the person) and Star Wars is what lead me to pursue a career in Audio and entertainment.

2) What inspired you to create the ‘WeBeGeeks’ podcast / website?   Ken and I are friends who met at work, and the chats we have at work are legen -- wait for it -- dary. OK. So maybe in our minds. One day we said we should record talks like this and let the world hear it.

3) How did you meet up with your collaborators, Ken, Victoria, Courtney, Eric and Jordan?   Ken, like I said above, is one of my coworkers. Jordan is a friend of my family. Plus Victoria and Courtney I met online. Victoria recruited Eric. We're from all over the place

4) If ‘WBGP’ was a piece of music, what would it be and why?   I would like to think we would be Floyd-esque. You know, New-Wave, Jazz. With a laid back feel with a story to tell.

5) If you could interview any celebrity – either living or dead – on your podcast, who would you get, and why would you want to choose this particular person?   We have already put it out there that we want Kevin Smith by the end of the year. Seth Green would be another. I knew him in his Freshman year of high school, which was right after his summer hit “Can’t Buy Me Love”!

Dead? I think Sir Alec Guinness.

Kevin Smith
6) If a movie was made about your podcast, what actor would play who, and again, why?   Me, I would say Kevin Smith: because we both have a lot of similarities on our influences. Ken, Chris O’Donnell: more for the look than the fact that he can get somber toned like Ken. Courtney, I would have to say Sarah Hyland: that girl next door or country girl. Victoria, I with out a doubt go with Ronda Rousey: Victoria would be our Heavy or first line if ever at a bar or pub. Eric, Ethan Suplee, More from Fanboys. And Jordan, Melissa Rauch: kind of quiet but zingers when needed.

7) What smell would you say best represent your podcast, and why would this be the case?   That 'just out of work' smell; because that is when we usually record the show.

8) Off the top of your head, can you name your top five favorite movies and superheroes of all time?   Star Wars, Superman, Batman, Teen Titans, and Luke Skywalker.

9) If your podcast had a motto, what would it be?   We actually already have one -- Everything but chick flicks and Twilight!

Ha! And on that note, Mike, all I have left to say is 'what are you waiting for', dear readers? Check out WeBeGeeks today! Plus don't forget to follow this great team on facebook and twitter too. Go on. Its well worth a click or fifty.
