Now Blue Shift is the first installment of Chris O’Connell’s Starfall Chronicles. It is a science fiction based adventure-novella that's full of aliens, robots, and other interesting figures. The book follows three main characters as they head out on a mission to recapture several fugitive aliens who have escaped to Earth. The story behind Blue Shift is both creative and entertaining. The book is age appropriate for both teenagers and adults.

Blue Shift 3DIn it, you'll meet Commander Shen, a formidable elite alien warrior, who's also something of a short-sighted hot-head. When tasked with the mission of recapturing a hijacked deep space prison transport, Shen’s impulsive cowboy-like actions give multiple alien convicts the chance they need to escape to a little blue planet called Earth. Now these very dangerous extraterrestrial fugitives are running around on Earth, doing God knows what to whoever they please, and no one can stop them, other than Shen, his android partner Seesix and a mysterious man in black known only as Mr. McGrath.

As the sole author behind Blue Shift, Chris O’Connell is also working as the primary producer, animator, and director on the Blue Shift independent animated film. In order to help offset some of the costs associated with creating the film, O’Connell has launched an Indiegogo crowd-funding campaign.
