Florida Anime Experience The Florida Anime Experience is returning for the sixth time this year, and once again will be held at the Park Inn by Radisson Resort & Conference Center, located at 3011 Maingate Lane, Kissimmee, Florida. These festivities will begin on the 22nd of April and end on the 24th, and on each day, the gates will be open at 11am and close at 6pm. Ticket prices are $20 for the Friday or the Sunday, $25 for the Saturday, or $45 for all three days. As per usual, children three years and under get in for free.

Now for those of you not in the know, The Florida Anime Experience is a three day pop culture event celebrating anime, manga, cosplay, fashion, and video games. The event boasts unique celebrity and industry guests plus over two hundred hours of programming for fans of Japanese entertainment and Asian culture.

As with previous years, plans are in place this year to bring in unique talent for Central Florida’s discerning fans. 2016 is no different as the convention will host the first ever Florida appearance of acclaimed voice actress, Kate Oxley, best known to anime fans as the voice of Akane Tsunemori from the Psycho-Pass series and motion picture.

Fan favorite, Caitlin Glass, the voice of Winry Rockbell from Fullmetal Alchemist, will also return for her first appearance in the Orlando area since 2009! A veteran in the industry, Caitlin is an ADR Director on many popular anime titles including the highly acclaimed Ouran High School Host Club.

Other scheduled appearances include: The Central Florida Bonsai ClubAnimEigo Co-Founder: Robert Woodhead, Anime Addicts Anonymous Podcast, Cosplay Model: Amazon Mandy, Metro Orlando Judo Kai, Noise Complaint, Origami Artist: Al Aki, SSAA Podcast, Steve Bennett, and Tayrex Cosplay.
