Why don't you come on down to the Salem Convention Center on either Saturday the 13th of August, or Sunday the 14th of August, 2016, and join in with the rest of the guys and gals at The North West Comic Fest. Tickets are now on sale and you can even enter the Film Fest too. So come on, the sooner you click that button the sooner you know you're comin'.

So far there have been a number of guests who've confirmed they'll be coming to the fest, most notably Brian Posehn, the multi-versatile actor, writer, and stand-up comic, currently co-writing Deadpool for Marvel, as well as hosting the popular podcast, Nerd Poker, on the Earwolf Network.

Within the last year he's done guest spots on the sitcoms, The Big Bang Theory, Guys With Kids, and Anger Management, and he has also starred for three seasons in Comedy Central’s popular show, The Sarah Silverman Program, and toured as one of the original members of the Comedians of Comedy.

Besides writing and performing on HBO’s acclaimed, Mister Show, Brian has appeared in sitcoms such as Just Shoot Me, Seinfeld, NewsRadio, Californication, Everybody Loves Raymond, and Friends. He also has an extensive resume in voice-acting that includes Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Adventure Time, Metalocalypse, Bob’s Burgers, Mission Hill, and American Dad.

Other things you can get up to at the North West Comic Fest involve a number of activities and exhibits on offer. Activities include an Outbreak Survival Basics Panel, an  Anime Face Workshop, a Making the Fan-Film Panel, and of course, a Cosplay Competition. Exhibitors, on the other hand, include the likes of USS Destiny, Nerd Wood Designs, Kathy Corvallis and her hand made goods, Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club, Borderlands Gaming, The Green Wolf ecology project, and, many-many more.
