Upcoming Hollywood blockbuster, Justice League, is the star of the show, with a series of other movie-themed games, including Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, The Dark Knight Trilogy, and Suicide Squad all featuring in the line-up. This latest news comes hot on the back of Marvel’s decision to close their own deal with Playtech, after becoming acquired by Disney.

The classic animation studio has been keen to separate its brand from adult themed products, including gambling, having reportedly blocked any attempts to build a brick-and-mortar casino in Florida, home to its flagship Disneyland resort.

Green Lantern
A previously announced set of games has also been re-released for a UK audience, with the Batman Classic TV Series accompanied by a number of films from Warner Bros., namely, Man of Steel (2013), Green Lantern (2011), Superman (1978), and Superman II (1980).

The Batman Classic set features a wide variety of games, each of which represents a battle between the Caped Crusader and one of his many enemies. Also available will be Batman & The Joker Jewels, Batman & Catwoman Cash, Batman & The Penguin Prize, Batman & The Batgirl Bonanza, Batman & The Riddler Riches, and Batman & Mr Freeze Fortune, all of which you can read more details about at, who provide great reviews.

In an interview he gave to the press, Mor Weizer, who's the CEO of Playtech, said: "This is a hugely significant deal for Playtech and we’re delighted to have a wider-reaching exclusive DC film-and-TV branded content licensing agreement with Warner Bros. Consumer Products. We’ve had phenomenal feedback from our licensees based on the high-quality and calibre of the DC-branded games we rolled out in 2016. Today’s agreement takes this launch strategy to the next level by allowing Playtech to expand its robust offering with an array of new games branded to blockbuster DC film titles. In addition, these new titles will contribute to the growth of the prize level of the DC Super Heroes Jackpot".

Batman & The Batgirl Bonanza
This collaboration is a boon for comic fans, showing that there is enough space in the industry for some of the biggest names in the world of superheroes. What's more, this could be an indication that there is even more to come from the casino world, at least in terms of appearances from Batman, Superman, and other DC superstars.

Pam Lifford, President of Warner Bros. Consumer Products, said in a joint statement with Playtech: “This collaboration speaks to our commitment to engage with fans in the growing gaming space and continue to offer players an on-going entertainment experience around the world.”
