DISNEY PIXAR THE INCREDIBLES 2 - THE OFFICIAL GUIDE

-
The IncrediblesIt may come as no surprise when I say that ‘The Incredibles’ does a pretty good job at satirizing, without plagiarising, certain powers, characters, and ideas, normally featured in the comic books. For instance, the whole notion behind a ‘Family of Heroes’ was initially introduced by Marvel’s first family, The Fantastic Four, and along similar lines, a committee banning superhero activity was first featured in stories published by DC Comics, such as those seen in All-Star Comics, starring the Justice Society of America, and Watchmen, starring the titular team... and so on, and so forth.

Now, between you and me, I could continue with this, and start comparing characters like Frozone to IcemanElastigirl to Mister Fantastic, Dash to The Flash, and Jack-Jack to Ultra: The Multi-Alien. But hey, if I did that, I’d only be delaying the inevitable. After all, The Incredibles are, excuse the obvious pun, an incredible group of heroes and they’ve been warmly embraced by most of the comic book community. So much so, in fact, that they’ve even been spoofed in turn. Here, check out the following gallery of images to see how they’ve been given the four color cuddle.
