POPULAR DISNEY NAMES IN THE UK

Disney CharactersAccording to a recent study conducted by the travel company, Florida4Less, two percent of the people living in the UK are named after characters owned by Disney, while a further three percent are named after characters featured in a TV show, a film, or a book that isn’t Disney related.

The data also suggests that the trend will continue to rise among the next generation, as fourteen percent have said they would consider naming their child Ariel, after ‘The Little Mermaid’, whereas nine percent are definitely tempted to go for Nala, following the recent ‘Lion King’ reboot.

That said, however, despite over one point five million Brits having named their children after characters from Disney, sixteen percent of those polled liked the idea but didn't really want to do it. Here, check out the following stats to see what are the most popular and the most inspirational Disney names adopted by the general public (ranked in order of preference).
