CINEMATIC SHIT WINS A PRIZE - WELCOME TO THE RAZZIES

In 1981, two veterans of the film industry, John J. B. Wilson and Mo Murphy, managed to establish ‘The Golden Raspberry Awards’ so they could shine a spotlight on cinematic shit. Or to be more specific about it, acknowledge those films that sank rather than swam, as well as those actors who clashed rather than made cash. In any event, John and Mo honestly thought that everyone should receive a prize, no matter how crap they are, which is why each year a 'prestigious awards show' is held in Los Angeles, California, in order to give away a variety of different awards (christened, 'Raspberries') to the worst actors in the business, the worst movies in the business, and the worst anything else in the business.
