THE TOP FIFTY FAMILY CHRISTMAS MOVIES FOR 2021

Jingle bells. Cheap hotels. Who shops on eBay? Oh what fun it is to hide in a house that doesn't pray, hey! Jingle bells. This rhyme smells. I need something more to say. Something like, 'it's gonna be good tonight', or else we might all turn gay!





Well, not gay, per se, but at the very least, we might turn festive! As it's that time of year again, folks, where we work, and work, and work, like a herd of stray reindeers, until we eventually collapse in front of the TV and watch one of our favorite movies.

But, before we do that, you might like to check out the following list of popular Christmas films for 2021! It was compiled by the team over at PoundToy.com, and based on an overall ranking (per film) derived from the following four sources:

• IMDb: For the audience score as well as each film's year of release and age rating.
• Metacritic: For the Metacritic score, but if the film's a Nativity film, the Rotten Tomatoes critic score was used instead.
• The Numbers and Box Office Mojo: For the domestic box office revenue (adjusted for inflation).
• Christmas rating: Which is a points-based methodology where a specific number of point(s) were awarded to each film if they met a certain criteria: 3 points if the film's plot centered on Christmas, 2 points if the film's themes related to Christmas, and 1 point was awarded if the film took place in a snowy setting or during the Christmas holiday.

You also might like to know that each of these films were made between 1947 and 2020 and rated 12 and under.

In addition to this, the team at PoundToy.com used Google Keyword Planner to find out the most searched for Christmas movie between October, 2020, and September, 2021, but only for the following four countries…
