Woody Allen Film by Film As of this writing, Woody Allen has scripted 78 films, directed 54, and acted in 49, and I say this while discounting his numerous other credits, such as journalism, stand-up comedy, as well as his love of music. Well, did you know that Woody Allen can play the clarinet and he's actually part of a jazz band that sporadically tours the globe? Also, his name isn't really Woody Allen. It's Allan Stewart Konigsberg, he was born in Brooklyn, New York, and his family originated from Russian and Austrian descent.

Now if you want to know any more about Woody and his long and illustrious career, then I would suggest that you pick up a copy of a new book written by Jason Solomons, 'Woody Allen Film by Film'. It's a 264-page hardback published by Carlton Books, and after reading it, I must say that it is a really engrossing read. Come to think of it, it just so happens that you could win a copy by entering the following caption competition.

Yes. That's correct, film fans. I'm at it again with another one of my contests. This time though, I'm giving you a chance to win the aforementioned book courtesy of Carlton. There are five books available -- yes, that's correct, I said FIVE -- and to win one all you have to do is...

Step One) Look at the image provided.
Step Two) Write one -- and only one -- amusing caption in the Disqus comment system.
Step Three) Just in case you win, you must log into Disqus with a valid account I can contact you by.
Step Four) Once you've posted your comment, please share this competition via Twitter, Facebook, G plus, Instagram or... whatever else you may have at your disposal.
