Over the last several years, Netflix has managed to release a number of top-quality films via their online streaming service. You see, not so long ago, they took it upon themselves to investigate everyone's current viewing habits by collecting and then analyzing relevant Google search data, prior to compiling their results into two notable categories. The first category mainly focused on the global popularity of each Original Netflix TV Show (defined by country), whereas the second category did a very similar thing, although the findings were largely centered on Original Netflix Movies instead.

There were also a couple of unfortunate exceptions that had to be omitted from their study. Namely, TV shows that began on another network before being picked up by Netflix (such as 'Arrested Development' and 'Top Boy'),  countries that didn’t have a sufficient amount of reliable search data (see Ahrefs’ Keyword Explorer to find out who), as well as any show that initially aired in a different country, despite Netflix currently holding the rights to their international distribution (such as 'Better Call Saul' and 'Peaky Blinders').
