LogoI haven't been to a comic book convention for an awfully long time due to the pandemic, ill health, and a number of other issues that delayed my return. So, to get back into the swing of things, a few weeks ago (the 30th of October), I decided to go to the MCM Comic Con (located in ExCel London) in order to get reacquainted with the variety of different attractions it had on offer. Attractions such as celebrity panels, activity workshops, eateries, as well as sections dedicated to gaming, Asian culture, comic books, art, cosplay, and films. On certain days, an assortment of special guests also attended the MCM Comic Con, including the star of 'Frost/Nixon', Michael Sheen, the former writer of the 'Daredevil' comic book, Charles Soule, plus many, many more notable people (click here for the full list), with the intention of signing autographs and taking pictures with their fans.

Move on. There's nothing to see here.

To describe my time at the MCM Comic Con, I'd say that it kind of reminded me of a woman's personal handbag, tipped out onto the floor for everyone to see. As the event was full of colorful bric-ร -brac that was sometimes distracting (๐Ÿ‘€), sometimes fun (๐Ÿ˜‰), and sometimes rather surprising (๐Ÿคฏ), especially the cosplayers, who were super creative and always willing to connect with others. Having said that, though, I wasn't enamored with any of the eateries available due to their exorbitant prices, rather than their service. How about you? Did you go to the MCM Comic Con (London)? And if you did, did you love it? Did you hate it? Or were you a bit like me? Somewhere in-between. Either way, please let me know your thoughts in the comment section below, and while you're at it, don't forget to check out the official website to see when the next convention will come to somewhere near you.
