What now follows is a selection of pictures I took while I was attending the aforementioned convention, along with a video that features a partial walk-through.
Here's Johnny! Or is it Clive?
Action figures and statues.
Cowabunga, bub.
Prints for sale.
Cute cosplayers.
Don't jump!
Shiny, stormy, Mandy people.
Hair today, gone tomorrow.
Crouching spider, hidden backpack.
Knock-knock! Who's there? An old-fashioned police box.
That monkey is definitely magic.
Chatting about cosplay.
Move on. There's nothing to see here.
To describe my time at the MCM Comic Con, I'd say that it kind of reminded me of a woman's personal handbag, tipped out onto the floor for everyone to see. As the event was full of colorful bric-ร -brac that was sometimes distracting (๐), sometimes fun (๐), and sometimes rather surprising (๐คฏ), especially the cosplayers, who were super creative and always willing to connect with others. Having said that, though, I wasn't enamored with any of the eateries available due to their exorbitant prices, rather than their service. How about you? Did you go to the MCM Comic Con (London)? And if you did, did you love it? Did you hate it? Or were you a bit like me? Somewhere in-between. Either way, please let me know your thoughts in the comment section below, and while you're at it, don't forget to check out the official website to see when the next convention will come to somewhere near you.
