SPOTLIGHT ON THE COMIC-BOOK COVER ARTIST, NATHAN SZERDY

Nathan Szerdy is a professional comic-book cover artist and illustrator known for his highly detailed work for both independent and major comic-book publishers, including DC Comics, Dynamite Entertainment, and Marvel Comics. He was born in Twinsburg, Ohio, and moved with his family to Florida at the age of six. During his childhood, Nathan started drawing and even enrolled in high-school art classes in the third grade. By the age of sixteen, he began working part-time as a caricature artist before attending college and earning a degree in 3D Animation. After completing his studies, he spent several years working for E2i Creative Studio as an art director, until Nathan got his big break at Dragon Con, where he was selected to illustrate his first major comic-book cover, 'Danger Girl: Twenty Years', thanks to Vault Collectibles. Since then, he's created cover art for a variety of popular comic-book titles, such as 'The Amazing Spider-Man' and 'Superman', to name but a few.
