Last week, I published an article about a book edited by Zach Block that chronicles the real-life historical adventures of his paternal grandparents (click here for further information). But years before Zach edited that book, he and a few like-minded individuals created another book. Or to be more specific about it, a three-issue comic-book series they've since collected into a fantastic graphic novel. Their fictional story is called 'Shake The Lake', and it follows a group of young friends who go on a summer trip to Lake Victoria, Arizona, only to face emotional turmoil and bigotry at every turn. Want to know more? Then please dive into the subsequent sneak peek I was kindly allowed to share.
'Shake The Lake' is a 168-page graphic novel written by Zach and Machi Block, with artwork provided by Diego and Andrea Lopez Mata. It is only available in a digital format, which you can purchase via Amazon by clicking here.
