WHAT'S THE MOST ANTICIPATED NEW FILM FOR THIS COMING FALL, 2017?

According to a survey carried out by Fandango, the popular online ticketing agent, three science fiction films were voted to be the most anticipated new movies for September through November, 2017. These movies are “Thor: Ragnarok”, “Justice League”, and “Blade Runner 2049”, with each of them being voted in by one thousand regular moviegoers who took part in this research.

Fans also chose the Australian actor, Chris Hemsworth (Thor: Ragnarok), as well as the Israeli actress, Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), to be this season’s most anticipated actor and actress respectively. Although, in terms of the actual movies themselves, Pixar’s “Coco” was selected as the most anticipated family film of the next three months, whereas “A Bad Moms Christmas” was picked as the most anticipated comedy.

In an interview he recently gave to the press, Erik Davis, who's the Managing Editor of Fandango, said: “Moviegoers always look forward to the fall season when some of the year’s best films debut, and this year there's an especially diverse slate full of a little something for everyone. ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ claims the most anticipated title, thanks to the overwhelming momentum and excitement the Marvel Studios brand has built up over the years, plus fans can’t wait to see more of Mark Ruffalo's Hulk, as well as Cate Blanchett and Tessa Thompson in new-to-the-franchise roles.”
