Way back in March, 2016, I managed to speak with Scott Larson about his supernatural comic book series, 'Visitations', which chronicles a historic battle between a group of gangsters from Chicago and a gang of ghouls from a nearby graveyard called Gracehill Cemetery (click here to check out our conversation). Since then, I'm happy to say that Scott's comic has grown in both scope and popularity. So, to celebrate, he's allowed me to share a selection of images that depict three American cities: Baltimore, New York, and Chicago. Each image was illustrated by the main man himself and you can see them right now ๐ ๐.
Baltimore
Founded: July 30, 1729 / Estimated population in 2021: 576,498 people / Named after: A nobleman from England called Cecil Calvert, who after his father's death was designated the 2nd Baron Baltimore / Located: Maryland
New York
Founded: 1624 (approximately) / Estimated population in 2021: 8,467,513 people / Named after: A king of England and Ireland called James II, who at birth was designated the Duke of York / Located: New York State
Chicago
Founded: 1837 / Estimated population in 2020: 2,746,388 people / Named after: A variety of onion that grew in the vicinity, which was initially called shikaakwa / Located: Illinois
In closing, I'd like to thank Scott for allowing me to share his amazing artwork in this article, before encouraging you to check out his official Website, Facebook, and Instagram pages. Or better yet, why not visit his online store and see some of the products he has on offer!
