COMIC BOOK COVERS THAT REFLECT THE CLASSIC COVER FOR THE FIRST ISSUE OF THE 1982 WOLVERINE LIMITED SERIES
In September, 1982, Marvel Comics published their first solo limited series starring the mighty mutant, Wolverine. Aptly titled, 'Wolverine', the first issue sports a very memorable cover illustrated by the artist, Frank Miller, which depicts a close-up of the titular character with a devilish smile on his face, a raised, clenched fist, and on the other hand, a beckoning gesture from his index finger. In fact, the aforementioned cover has become so memorable, that since its release, a number of other artists have drawn similar comic book covers in order to match its veracity. Here ๐, check out the following image gallery to see a selection of these covers.
