Not so long ago, I interviewed Jason Platt about his fun graphic novel, 'Paw & Order Vol. 1: The Grilled Cheese Caper', which tells the story of two private detectives who try to find out what unscrupulous character stole all the sandwiches at the annual Grilled Cheese Festival (click here for our Q and A). These two detectives, Purrlock and Marlowe, are a cat and a dog, respectively, and now they're both back to take on their next adventure.
This time, though, instead of trying to track down a sandwich thief, they try to track down someone who has stolen a priceless painting. But who could it be? Who could have committed such a dastardly deed? Well, to find out, please check out 'Paw & Order Vol. 2: The Case of the Sleeping Artist', in which Purrlock and Marlowe both attempt to solve the crime by searching for clues and questioning a cast of curious suspects. Those they question include Marlowe's Aunt Foo Foo, the nice lady who invited them to Paris for the painting's unveiling, only to be arrested for the theft; M. Henri Porcupine, the reclusive artist who created the painting; as well as Hugh Manatee, M. Henri's artistic rival. To see how their adventure begins, here ๐, have a look at the following preview I was kindly allowed to share.
'Paw & Order Vol. 2: The Case of the Sleeping Artist' is an 88-page graphic novel written and illustrated by Jason Platt and published by Papercutz. For further information, please feel free to visit the official website. Or if you prefer, you can click here to pick up a copy via Amazon.
